 Some men may have aged but their maturity seems to be stuck at a certain level. They maybe men but they are boys at heart.
Your b/f will not change unless you leave him . It ain't fun and if you are looking for a half full , then there is all he has.
If he cannot put you first on his list, you are better off looking for another who will treat you and appreciate you more.
