But MY BOOBS ARE HAIRY! like around the nipple and then I have hair on my chest and stomach and stuff! It's not like proper chest hair or anything lol, it's like the stuff you get before you shave your legs. Ad I have dark hair, so the hairs are dark! Omg! It's really annoying! I'm really self concious, also I get my mum to wax my upper lip because I have hair on there too! I am SO SELF CONCIOUS AND I GET UPSET ABOUT IT! what do I do! I know it's not normal!

First, it is always important to see your doctor (GYN or regular doctor) to talk to them about whether your hair growth is normal or a hormone problem. You shouldn't be embarrased aobut this-many women have unwanted hair similar to what your describing and many women have hormonal problems. Next, if this hair is normal there are many different hair removal methods. Althought I have found with course dark hair that the best and most effective is laser hair removal (but know that this is very expensive and should be done by a professional).

You are wrong!! It is normal!! Lots of women have this. Just do what they do--waxing and laser treatments!! Stop freaking out about it. Completely normal.

reader, anonymous, writes (18 April 2009): The thing is, it's normal for you. That's the way you are. Some people have a lot of hair and others don't. The more you shave, the thicker the hair will grow back.
Electrolysis is the only method I know of that gets rid of unwanted hair completely, but it's a long, slow, uncomfortable and expensive process. If you've got just a few long hairs growing from your nipples, plucking them ought to do the trick, but I wouldn't worry about 'bum-fluff' elsewhere.

Hey, don't worry everyone has it, its just that you have dark hair so it shows up more. Confidence is the key thing here, if you act confident if/when people bring it up and laugh it off then people won't make a big deal out of it :)
