I feel like crying and as if my chest exploding. I do not know why this is however I believe I was mothered too much. What can I do to stop having such feelings?

There is no way to switch off your feelings, you have to live through them, but you can divert your attention to something else. Find other friends, go out and do something nice, find some hobbies. Once you focus on something else, it gets easier.

its not because your mothered to much its because your a very sentative person.
break up hurts no matter how old you are.
try to get out see friend get your mind off the break up.
When ever i have a break up i'll go out with my friends and take my mind off it.
it would take time but remember baby steps.
dont take it out on people around you that love you.
if you get angry take a deep breath, sit down, take a walk.
get yourself a hobby.
Take care and smile.
