Question - (2 February 2010) 3 Answers - (Newest, 2 February 2010)
A male United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My girlfriend is 21 years old.

She comes from a rich family and has pretty much everything she needs.

Valentine is coming up and I'm struggling to find a perfect gift for her.

It has been suggested sending flowers but I felt that's not enough.

What else could I give her/let her know I really care for her?

A male reader, anonymous, writes (2 February 2010):

Give her the gift of yourself and your time. She doesn't need more stuff. She does need emotional support, hugs, kisses, beautiful sentiments spoken. Take her out to the ballet, a concert and have a beautiful, romantic dinner to complement the evening.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (2 February 2010):

Find a compact disc and have a picture of the two of you literally burned onto the face of the it, kind of like a label. There are special CD/DVD burners that do this, the technology is called Light-Scribe (though that spelling might be off). If you don't have the proper CD/DVD burner or disc, sometimes digital photo places will do this for you.

Next, go to a craft store and buy a clock mechanism (i.e., the hands to a clock and the mechanism that makes it rotate). Turn the CD/DVD with your picture into a clock by inserting installing the clock mechanism into it.

Lastly, go to a department store and buy one of those stands that you can put decorative plates on to keep the clock upright. Now you have a personalized clock of the two of you!

Enjoy

Cost: Around $10, $15 max

A female reader, Jezebella United States +, writes (2 February 2010):

I suggest sending her flowers and in the bouquet telling her to meet u somewhere. Plan a romantic dinner for the two of u and thats where u tell her to meet u. Dont give away any hints why. No matter how rich she is this will blow her away and show her just how much u care.every girl wants romance on valentines day. Good luck.
