Whats really odd about this letter is that it looks really unprofessional. Their web site is also unprofessional looking. This was my first time to receive anything like this. Anyway, the company also, enclosed a payment form for me to fill in my credit card number and signature to authorize them for payment. What is also odd is that my name has never been under any cellular phone company. My head is spinning, I am so stressed out with school and now this. I don't even know where to start really. I am so mad! I owe a few loans mainly school loans and a couple credit cards, but I always pay on time, Always, and I mean never late.Where do I begin?

Sounds like a massive scam to me.
I could send you a letter saying you owed me hundreds of pounds and give you a form to fill out with all your details and if you fill it in then I could empty your bank account.
I don't know what the equivalent of Trading Standards is over there. But who every it is that investigates scams, give them a call. The company name may be legitimate, but as I say, I could put together a letter claiming to be anyone if I wanted to too.
Good Luck!! xx

The website shows an address of Capital Collections LLC, Interlink 503, Box 02-5635, Miami, FL 33102, with an email of [email address blocked].Is this the address on the letter you received? I also checked a forum where a number of people stated they had received harrassing letters sent to their workplace, etc., threatening arrest if they didn't pay by Western Union (for debts as small as $175). Now, I don't have any experience, but the letter you received sounds like a SCAM attempt. (You've heard of the Nigerian scam letters right? i.e., "you have been awarded X-millions of dollars and you need to provide us with your SSN or bank number to collect it" or "I'm Mrs. So and so, a widow who has been left a few million dollars but I can't collect it, so can you send me your bank acct. info so I can deposit it in your bank and I'll share it with you" sort of thing).Have you ever received any bills from any of the school loan agencies, or credit card companies and not sent in the payment when due? Are you quite sure there's no bill you might possibly have overlooked paying? (Even if you had, your credit card company would send you a reminder, they wouldn't just turn it over to a collection agency). If as you say you HAVE made the payments on time, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. But do call your local Better Business Bureau! They may be able to direct you how to check into this further. One last thing: if the letter you received was unprofessional, spelling errors, etc., that's a good clue as to its being a come-on. NO professional company should ever ask you for your credit card or SSN, UNLESS YOU first initiate a call to THEM.
