An update on my question posted here:

http://www.dearcupid.org/question/how-can-i-get-my-husband-to-take.html

Well, I spoke to my husband and son, and they insist that nothing will stop them.

I even tried reminiscing to my husband with old photos but he said to me "Those were the days... but this is now!"

His beer belly's getting bigger constantly, and he's eating and drinking more - plus having nachos with cheese every night of the week.

The only sport they do is going down the local bowling arenas 2 nights a week, and that involves eating loads.

I tried to get them more active, but they quit after 5 minutes and began binging on fast food and Diet Coke!

I've tried everything to get them eating healthier - preparing healthy meals, giving my son healthy school dinners - but they insist on eating nothing but fast food and drink.

Their father-son bond is unbreakable and they're more like best buddies than father and son.

Even trying to educate them on health-related issues failed, so how can I deal with the situation?

How do I cope with this??

Why is your husband bringing your son down with him? I bet it makes him feel better about getting bigger. Why don't you target your son instead? if you can get your son to stop, maybe your husband will follow suit as he won't have a eating buddy no more.
