A female United States age 36-40, *iswife writes:

I have been married for close to a year now and I dont know what is going on in my marriage. things are not as blissful as I thought they would be.

I have always tried to go out of my way to make him happy, but everytime i do something for him he complains and complains and sometimes he even gets angry with me.I just recently through him a surprise bday party and invited all of his family and friends that i could get in contact with i held the party at one of his favorite restaurants. I dont have the best realtionship with his mom and I am not really close to any of his other family members or friends, so i feel as if i really put myself out there He went through my blackberry months prior and found out about the party and complained about me throwing him a party and inviting his friends and family, i didnt call the party off, but to try and get him to ease off of complaing and appreciate the party, i also spent my entire raise check and bought us a trip to Puerto Rico. we are going to stay at the waldorf astoria and we have all meals paid for, and since his bday in may, he has not stopped complaining about the trip. What is wrong with him, it seems as if I can never make him happy. the more i try to do things for him the less intrested in me he seems.

O my husband does not like me to hang out with my friends either, anytime there around it's always something negative out of his mouth. well if we work togther we can maybe help each other to see the beauty and inner strenght we thought we never had. most of the time it's great to get advise or talk to someone that is experiencing the similiar problems. P.S. dOnt forget its all about u, i hope u take great care of urself and always look good even in ur home, not for him but for urself. i'm certain he'll want to know whats going on. have a great weekend

Wow! Prissy07 u do understand what I am going through. He even said the same thing u did. I need to start caring and doing things for myself. Since I met him I stepped away from a lot of the things I liked to do and started focusing on finding ways to support and uplift our family. I graduated from college and that following monday I went straight into a career so we could build and have a family. He loves to look at other women and he tries to clean it up and say he just likes fashion and that he looks at guys too to see how they are dressed. Sometimes after he looks at women I can tell his dick is hard. It doesn't get hard when he looks at guys that's how I know he is full of shit. When I try to have friends he talks so bad about them and says things like I don't want u to be her friend cuz she is divoriced or she doesn't believe in what we believe in. This weekend I am going to go to an exercise class. I'm not fat or anything but I am going to make that the first thing I do for myself. Thanks for letting me know I am not alone. I hope your situation gets better too love. Oh and he loves porn too. U were right about that part... Smh

He doesn't appreciate you because you're always trying and caring about pleaseing him, what about you? who cares for you? maybe you need to start caring about yourself and focus on what makes you happy. It sounds like he is a selfish, inconciderate pig that probably enjoying watching woman or porn on his spare time. well good luck becuase i'm not so far from you and if your anything like me he probably have all the friends while you have none. good luck because i certainly need it.
