writes:I'm really confused. I've just been asked out by two people. One of them I've been crushing on for a while and now i've even started dreaming about him! The other one is really nice and I've actually started to sort of fancy him. The thing is the one I've been crushing on is a bit of a player and has never ever been rejected whereas this other guy is really funny and nice. I know that you guys will say to go with the nice and funny guy but it really isn't that simple because everyone is expecting me to go out with the cool guy and not the average guy! I'm seriously completely confused. Please Help!

 I say you reject this player. What he'll probably do is move on to the next girl in line. At least that way you'll be glad you never got with him because he would just be the same player, girlfriend or not!!
As for the other guy, i don't know him personally. I'm sort of in a similar situation, 2 guys and i don't know what to do with myself, i like them both. They are both ex's of mine, one being the most recent (who is currently cheating on his gf with me!) and the other was from years ago (who is a great guy, makes me laugh, but can be very stubborn and immature)
I agree with the other poster, don't listen to what everyone else thinks, it's your choice, and you have the option to choose neither (as do i) but i think you could use some more time, to weigh up pros and cons with each guy

I'm thinking your a good girl, and this "player guy" is probably someone who likes to get what he wants, if you like that sort of thing then sure go for it, but i would suggest the nice and funny guy, but it doesn't matter what other people say, you should listen to your heart, and go with the one who really means a lot to you, someone you have things in common with. you young so just try to have fun and don't do something you don't want to do.

reader, anonymous, writes (22 October 2010): That's a really tough decision to make, and I'm not gonna tell you which one to pick because I don't know them personally. First piece of advice is to not listen to everybody else. If you liked the average guy don't go out with the other one just because other people expect you to say yes. Also, I think you would have to evaluate which one would better fit your lifestyle and which one you have more in common with. And, if you pick the guy that's a player, don't let him make you do anything you don't want to.
