Two boys are in love with me and I don't know what to do

A female Germany age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hello. I'm quite baffled at the moment.

There are two guys - both my best friends - I quite like and they are both in love with me. (Never before even one guy was interested in me and now two at the same time!) I don't know what to do or feel or think.

They are best friends themselves and I can't really tell which guy I like more because they are so much alike.

And I really really really don't want to hurt one of them or be the reason they stop being friends. But i also don't want to lose them, i like them to much. (Shame on me.)

I have no idea what to do ...

Thanks a million for your help :)

A female reader, Shadow Rose United States +, writes (1 January 2012):

Shadow Rose agony auntTell them that you cant date either one of them because they are such good friends to you, that you dont want to ruin the friendship, plus they are too much alike, and even if you weren't going to ruin the friendship, you'd never be able to chose because they're both so (insert compliment here).

Pretty much, say it in a way that makes them feel ok afterwards, not like crap. If you hurt their feelings or make them seem like not your type, they might not want to be friends either...
