 Tell them that you cant date either one of them because they are such good friends to you, that you dont want to ruin the friendship, plus they are too much alike, and even if you weren't going to ruin the friendship, you'd never be able to chose because they're both so (insert compliment here).
Pretty much, say it in a way that makes them feel ok afterwards, not like crap. If you hurt their feelings or make them seem like not your type, they might not want to be friends either...
