writes: dear agony aunt,I'm 15 years old and i have a problem that has been dragging on for months.There is this guy, he likes me very much, and i like him, but i'm not aloud to date until i am 16. He happily agreed to wait until i was 16 to date me, and has waited for about 7 months now. In this time i have figured out that i have started getting very strong feelings for his older brother who is 18. I am so confused i can't help myself. I have liked his older brother for about 4 months now and am finding it very hard to cope and keep it a secret, and i still like his younger brother but no where near as much. He is obviously way to old for me but i really like him, although he does not know this, no one does. I dont know what to do please help me Reply to this Question

 Well until you are 16 you can't do anything about dating either one of them, you do need to work out which one you really do want to date when you are allowed to as the younger brother is waiting around for you until you are 16 and if it's not him you want you need to tell him and better being soon.

Firstly, since you know you don't like the younger brother any more, you need to let him know. He's probably waiting until you two can date, it's not fair on him to keep him hanging on when you're not that into him any more. It's not easy to tell him, but its really the best thing you can do for both of you. It will be a big weight of your mind.
After that, you might gently try letting the older brother how you feel. Be prepared for him to not be interested (in case he isn't), but you never know, he might like you. The age difference of 18 and 16 isn't very big (once you are 16), I wouldn't necessarily say that he is obviously too old for you.
