I was in a much better relationship with someone a year older than me than one where they were 6 years younger than me. It was the persons character rather than their age though that was the problem.
8 months difference is nothing though, so don't even worry! Unless you want to wind him up about him being your toyboy of course ;)

reader, anonymous, writes (22 August 2006): hunny, i once went out with a lad who was a year and a half younger than me and it is a little weird especially when my last bf had been 3 years older!! but i loved the younger one so much more and he valued me lots more too. we also took things much slower which at the time seemed weird but it just felt so much better. My advice forget the age thing embrace what you and your lad have! Have fun babe xx

 Well thats great my dear, as you said 8m months is nothing, my sister is 25 and her fella is 21!!!!! They are blissfully happy!!! So stop worrying, I like older men or younger men, I am 23 and would marry someone 2 years younger than me, but 8 months is certainly not an issue, neither is any other age if you are happy. I love him very much, and he's never been immature. You just don't know where life will take you - but i have never been more grateful that this happened.
