To trust or not?

Question - (19 November 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 19 November 2009)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I have had some hard relationships in my life and all but one man has committed some form of cheating or lying to me and it has caused me to have some issues with men. The man I am seeing now is wonderful but I have pissed him off a time or two by accussing or questioning his actons. I believe him and I think I trust him but sometimes I get these feelings an its so hard to ignore them so I ask him and when I do it comes out the wrong way and he thinks I dont trust him...and just like me he feels you cant have a healthy relationship if you dont trust the other person. I have never caught him in a lie and he says its my past issues with men that I question him and he cant handle much more! Is it possibly my issues from the past causing me to act the way I do now with a man I have no reason to question or not trust til I'm proven wrong with him? What can I do about this...how do I move on and get over the past?

I know when you have been lied to, it makes it hard to trust people.

Stop waiting for him to do something wrong, enjoy what you have now.

If you don't you are going to loose the good ones, no one likes being questioned.

Good Luck
