I will be spending part of my trip with him. This will be the first time that he and I have seen each other in 14 years. Is it appropriate to give a gift, seeing as how I will be spendig part of my trip in his home and if so, what is an appropriate gift? Reply to this Question Share |

It's kind of funny that suggested wine as he and I had a ery comical concersation recently based on wine as a way to keep the winter's heating bills down. So I think a bottle of wine will be a good gift for him as well as a running joke between us.

I'd suggest a bottle of wine. It's probably a good idea to being a gift, but nothing too personal.
