writes: Hi got a big problem. I go to a course for literacy and numeracy 3 days a week. Theres this kid there. I use the word kid as by law im a adult, he is only 14. He constantly looks at me. I am not interested as i have someone and he aint my type by far. He just dont get it and my other half wants to smash him. I always give him dirty looks and mimic the word what? And he just looks away and looks again when im not. Im getting angry with him what can i do?

How about treating this boy like an actual human being! You're going about the situation completely wrong. At 14, if I were to fancy someone older than me - dirty looks wouldn't make a difference! Only make me feel bad - is that what you want to do? How about TALKING to him, letting him down gently - no 'smashing' needed. He's 14 for goodness sake, if your partner gets worked up about that then boy does he have a problem!

The best way you can get him to loose interest in you is to be forthright with him. Tell him to his face that you are not interested in him and you will never be interested in him, so he needs to go sniff around elsewhere. If he crys, tough. He's young. He'll get over it.
