writes:this may be a long one. but to give some history before i ask the question it is a friend issue. my ex best friend went out with this guy and got hurt by him although she did cheat. now this same guy is going out with my current best friend, now the ex best friend showed me a text today which concerned me quite a bit because i dont want to see my current best friend get hurt by him...do i tell her what he said and watch him lie or put up with it knowing she will get hurt?thanks in advance

a friend is someone that will keep quite but a best friend will tell you even though they know you will be hurt by it,coz they are the one's thats gonna be there for you to comfort you. a friend wont tell coz he/she doesnt feel like comforting you and if they can lie or keep secrets like this what els can they not also do think of it do you wanna be a friend or do you wanna be a best friend

 When your best friend like/love him, any negative thoughts or news about him is unacceptable and unbelievable to her.She will only view you negatively .You can only tell her to be careful of him , thats all.
Even if you showed her the text, she may still thing it is all fabricated by you or his ex. . You will have to let your friend do it her way.Woman don't like to be told they are wrong.
You only heard from your ex best friend's perspective and it could be a bias view of that man.It may not be the real truth about their situation.If you listen to both sides, you may form a better opinion .
