This is starting to really worry me now, could i be pregnant? It's been constantly plagueing my mind these last few days, well, here's the facts and inordetlly someone can help, i had unprotected sex with my man 5 days ago, he didn't come whilst inside me (but nearly did once) but we were at it for at least 4 hours, and i worked out the other day that at that point i was at one of my most fertile dates, and im not too sure on how long the early symptoms take to come into place but the last couple of days iv been experiencing the fatigue, bit headachey, and today i seem to be getting slight cramps, and hardened abdomin, like the whole implantation stage, but its still a few days early for that isn't it? Or can it be earlier than the usual 8-10 days? I've still got just over a week to go until my next period is due, so haven't actually missed one yet, and iv also checked out a due date calculator, just for the sake of seein what it came out with, if any of the dates matched or anything, and it asked for the date of my last period, and how long the cycle lasts, and without me telling it, it came out with the date of conception being the same date that i had unprotected sex wit my man, what does this all mean? Someone please help me out here, iv always wanted a kid but iv only been with my guy for a week!

goingcrazy3388 agony auntOk,for one thing, you shouldn't be having unprotected sex to begin with. You should be more worried about AIDS and other STDs. Also, just because he didn't ejaculate while inside of you doesn't mean you can't be pregnant. There is alot of sperm released before a man even ejaculates. All you can really do is go to the clinic or your obgyn to be checked and make sure you tell them you had unprotected sex so they can check you for not only the pregnancy, but STDs as well. Also,as the mother of two girls,if your age is right on here, and you are really 16-17,I wouldn't encourage you to be having sex with anyone, but if you are going to do it,please use protection.

Get yourself to a clinic and get checked out as soon as possible! If you want to pregnancy test yourself you can get them that you can use from the day that you period is due. And for heavens sake, start using condoms and don't let his penis near your vagina (even for foreplay) without one on!

A male reader, Uncle Sneaker United Kingdom +, writes (2 July 2008):

Uncle Sneaker agony auntYes you could be pregnant. You need to get a pregnancy test done as soon as it's going to produce reliable results (14 days, I think??).

Unprotected sex is crazy, for loads of reasons you already know. What you also need to remember (assuming it's not already too late) is that sperm may be released considerably before ejaculation. In fact, some of the experts who advise couples who are having difficulty in conceiving actually advise trying withdrawal before ejaculation as a way of avoiding the "flood" that can make it more difficult for a sperm to reach its destination.

Good luck.

Having unprotected sex is really playing with fire, and I hate to have to tell you, but there's every chance you could be pregnant. You've no way of knowing whether a few of those little tadpoles crept out - there's a good chance they did - even if he didn't ejaculate.

See if you have your usual period next week and if you come on you're probably not pregnant. In the meantime you could think about buying a few condoms for future use, or if this is to be a regular thing, go and get yourself on the pill. Brook Avisory Centres dish them out for free or you could pay for them on the NHS from your GP.

If you don't have your period, go and buy a pregnancy test kit from the chemists shop and start planning for motherhood if necessary.

How old are you?

You are only with the guy for a week and you have unprotected sex? That is so irresponsible! Not just for the risk of falling pregnant but what about STD's and AIDS?

You are worried about being pregnant, have you thought about AIDS? Far worse the then any unwanted pregnancy.

If your periods are late, get a pregnancy test done!
