I am not into spending a lot of money because I know the drill of spending 10k for 4 hours of fun and is not nice afterwards. The thing is he still wants a wedding where his friends can attend and share with us, and I want that too but not at such a high price.Do you have any alternatives on doing a very creative, joyful and impacting wedding on less than 3k? Thanks!

My wife and I got married at a registry office, then we went with all our friends to a lovely cafe/restaurant in Hampstead Heath, it was beautiful. It cost nothing but the cost of the dinner and drinks. Everybody had the best time as there was no stress, nothing to organise and it was all very relaxed.
You can put a couple of grand behind the bar for drinks and everyone will be happy.
