I think part of the problem is I have very strict standards for him I really like him but I wish just he relex a bit. Hes acting like a robort trying to impress me. Its annoying me. Why not lower your standards for him so he doesn't feel so much pressure to be this image of perfection that you demand.
If you chill out then so will he.
Talk to him and tell him to just be with you and that will be enough to impress you.
