If you are bleeding for 19 days that is not normal. I had an 18 day period last year and I'm not on birth control. You should see your doctor asap, because you are losing a lot of blood, way more than you would in a normal 5 day period. How come you have to wait 3 more weeks? Did you tell them why you need to see a doctor when you called to make the appointment? Maybe they thought you just wanted an annual check up. This is sort of an emergency and a doctor would probably agree to see you right away. You will get an injection to stop the bleeding.

tennisstar88 agony auntIt's possible the depo shot is still in your system..Technically, your it should be out of your system in 6-8 months..We know every woman's body reacts differently. You'll have to wait till you see your gyno to get the proper diagnosis.
