There was a bit of teasing without a condom before the actual sex, is there a high chance of pregnancy, a low chance or none at all?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I recently had sex for the first time with my boyfriend. I was ready and don't regret it. We were sensible and used a condom. I don't want my age mentioned, okay? That is not what my question is about.

Before we actually had sex, he was teasing me a little by rubbing his penis just inside my outer vaginal lips and such. He did this without a condom. I'm scared as I keep thinking I may be pregnant through pre-cum. Is there a high chance I am pregnant, a low chance or none at all?

Sweet-heart... You will not be considered a slut if you only sleep with one man and you should not be considered a slut for using protection.

A condom is good, but for further protection you should go to a doctor and ask him for advise... You are young (I'm not lecturing I promise), so what you should use for extra protection might be different from what an adult woman who is fully formed.

Good Luck. Be safe. X

You could get the contraceptive pill from the doctors. If you have to go with your mum or dad you could say you wanted to go on it because you have quite heavy, awkward periods and want to go on the pill so they are more regular and controlled. Then you could go in with the actual doctor by yourself and just ask for the pill. If you tell them its for your periods, I don't see why they would have a problem with it. xx

You could go to a brook advisory centre or your local family planning clinic.

They can give you the pill or other forms of contraception ie injection, which is all confidential and they won't need to inform your parents or even your family doctor.

It is all free and you can get free condoms as well so its well worth going for your peace of mind.

Just google them for your local area.

Take care

Thank you for your fast and helpful responses. I really appreciate it! You've really helped to stop my worries, so thank you so much. I was wondering, is there any protection I can get at my age without being considered a slut? My boyfriend uses condoms, but I would like a backup, because I'm one of those people who is always twice as careful as other people. Thank you.

I'd say there's a VERY, VERY low chance of you get pregnant. I would say no chance... But there are always exceptions. If you had pre-come on our vaginal lips then there is the slightest chance that when you had sex with a condom that it could have been pushed into you vagina... But it's extremely unlikely. I wouldn't suggest you do this again if you're getting so scared about it... Your peace of mind is very important.

Good Luck! X
