The walls of my vagina have collapsed, (what do I do? )

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hi, I've been with my boyfriend for 2 and a half years now, I'm 15, but 16 on Monday, I have become sexually active for 1 year, my periods have always been regular, not much menstrual pain and recently the walls of my vagina have not collapsed but like closed together. I have been using tampax since I started (2 years ago) and it hurts to insert a tampon and it hurts to take out, it used to feel so fresh comfortable and hygenic but now when I use them it puts me in a bit of discomfort, I'm always hurting every single period, and the stomach pains that I have been getting are horrific, basically I don't know what to do with the walls of my vagina. Is it serious, what's the cause of it and is there a solution to it, bear it in mind that I am sexually active, and I do use tampons, so that might help to answer

thanks

go see a doctor. i have heard of this sort of condition before where some women's vaginal entrances actually close up as they have not got medical help. this may not be you at all, so don't worry. plus i am not a doctor so don't take this as 100%. but go get yourself checked out.

You really need to see a doctor, it sounds like you have a condition like pelvic Inflammatory disorder or an infection... but only a doctor can help you here, sorry! :)
