writes:ahmmm.. the thing is, i ejaculated inside my girlfriend. She has a irregular mens cycle, but its day 40 already and I am getting worried. I made her take a pregnancy test and it came out negative and our last sex was like a week ago.. whats wrong?

 I took three tests and they all came back negative so I went to the doctors to find out what was wrong with me. Complete shock to find out I was pregnant!
It may still be a bit soon to tell if shes pregnant. Take her to see a doctor or wait a few more days and do another test :)

reader, anonymous, writes (26 June 2007): I took a preg. test, two actually and they were both negative. Then a week later, I went to the health dept. to get on the pill, and they routinely do a preg. test b/c if you are preg. & take the pill it can damage the fetus. And the nurse told me I was pregnant. Urine tests can take up to 3 weeks to be able to determine if the girl is pregnant. So if you got her pregnant 2 weeks ago for example, it may be too soon for a urine test to pick up. Wait another week & re-take a test. If it still says no, she needs to go the the obgyn to see why she has not had her period. And you guys need to be more careful if you aren't wanting a baby.

 well take another test and maybe visit your doctor to get a blood test to confirm it.
