A male United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

So I ended up getting involved with a married woman while I was still married about a year and a half ago. We shared everything and fell in love. I left my wife, but she remained with her husband. She proclaims how much she loves him and me too, but she cant leave him.

The twist in this tale is that I recently found emails between her and one of her co workers. quite explicit. She wrote it off as "healthy banter"... but I am sure that she has begun an affair with him too because of her curiosity. All the tell tale signs are there like they were with me along with the associated gut instinct.

Even though I am not the husband and she tells me that I have no right, it hurts to be in this situation as she lies to her husband to be with me and she may be doing the same to me just to keep me or out of fear that I will tell the husband.

Has anyone else heard of this scenario of a married person seeing more than one person outside of th marriage at the same time?

rockelle agony auntI think that she could be having an affair with this other guy. She is not exactly trustworthy and faithful. If she isn't being faithful to her husband what makes you think she is going to be faithful to you? You should leave this women alone and move on with your life. I hope you have learned a lesson from this. This women is probably just looking for a thrill after she ruined your marriage the thrill with you is nearly gone so now she is on to someone else. Think about it, is that really the type of women you would like to have a relationship with? As easy as it is for her to lie and deceive her husband it is just as easy for her to do it to you.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (5 December 2007):

I truely believe that she did fall in love with me. I am surprised and puzzled as women tend to get more emotionally attached and not normally the men. Especially through love making.

Her curiosity plays a major factor in that she was not sexually adventurous enough in her earlier days and now wants to test everywhere and with everyone.

Anyone have any tips on getting strong enough to walk away? Most people who have been in this situation will know how hard this is.

Thanks

Dear poster

Men do it all the time its an ego boast!!! not saying its only men woman can do so too makes you wonder if they are capable of real feelings and considering others without being selfish. can I ask was this woman worth leaving you wife for? You said you shared everything, she prob shared everything with her hubby too but not the fact that she sleeps with you. Sorry to be harsh and blunt maybe you did fall in love, but did she fall in love with you or is it just a fling.
