At his age, yes, he probably did. Or, he may remember you, and is too shy to ask you to do more than laugh at his jokes. Or, your friends are just being mean to you, by telling you that he likes you, when they don't have a clue, beyond the fact that they may be able to guess you like him. The only way you are going to learn the answer to your question is to ask him.
