At this time, I felt my heart beat in my chest and my stomach did flip flops. I've seen him a couple times since. He's 19 and I am 16. He goes back to college in a couple weeks. I want to talk to him but I have no clue how to go about it. I don't know anything about him and I wouldn't know what to stay. Does anyone have any advice? I mean, I can't just go up to him and say "Hey how's it going, we've never met, but I've liked you since the first moment I heard you play the piano at church. I'm newer at church and don't know his family. Any suggestions? Thanks! Reply to this Question Share |

I know exactly how you feel!
The fundamentals behind your story are basically what has happened to me before my current dilemma (see my question).
I think the best way to talk to a guy is to approach them with a compliment, perhaps after a service/mass tell him you thought he was really talented or something... 'you are a brilliant pianist' or something along those lines but whatever you say leave an open question at the end so *par example*....
'Hiya, my name is ... i know this might be a bit random but i think you are a brilliant pianist, how long have you been playing?'
if he just says thanks and looks as though he is going to disappear just say ( even if you know it)
'I'm sorry, i didn't catch your name...'
hopefully this advice will help :) good luck x
