Anyways, I once broke up with this girl like you (though, yours is with a guy lol) Biggest mistake ever, she moved on about a year after and to be honest I was a complete asshole after the break up, most of us guys are FYI...
I dunno why I was, I genuinely didnt know what I wanted and I think she thought I was stringing her along (if that makes any sense) anyways, to your dilemma.
I'd say in retrospect you should really talk it out with your boyfriend, that's the gamble of relationships and love. You give a certain part of yourself like a bet and hope you get the jackpot, but the stakes are so high that 9 times out of 10 you lose. The trick is to judeg if someone is worth that bet and sicne he's your boyfriend I'd assume so.
You firstly need to talk to your boyfriend here, that's the main thing. Trust is the most important aspect in a relationship. After that, if you guys still have problems just come back here.
Oh and btw - you're not being paranoid! Perfectly natural to be scared of getting your heart broken.
