Well...not exactly a relationship question - but please help anyway!

I don't wear make-up very often and when I do its not much either. However it often seems to smudge (although its only mascara and eyeliner). I don't know why this happens. Have you got any tips to prevent it from smudging?? Thanks

Hi - I posted the question and thanks for your answers. I'll try them out!

Satindesire: no I don't apply foundation or concealer before make-up.

Umm...I guess my skin is failry normal but I do quite a bit of sport so I sweat quite alot :S

I don't get massive amount of acne - but yes a few spots mainly on my forehead every now and again. Somedays my complexion is clear, other times there is a little bit of a break out!

And when I wash my face I use clean and clear blackhead clearing cleanser and also their dual action moisturiser. Does toothpaste help?? I've heard that before but tried it.

Thanks for your help

Katy. agony auntTry waterproof mascara but i think it's the eyeliner you'll have most trouble with, i do deffinetley, i think it's just most pencils, try and liquid one (if this suits).

Also, if you make sure all around the eye area has no oil/grease etc, and make sure it is matted with abit of concealer and powder (which also hides the dark circles).

Ohh and also, a MUST have is little correction buds from boots, they're only about £2-£3 pounds and they're little cotton buds which when you snap one end liquid comes to the other end to wipe away any little marks. I'd recommend these to anyone (:

Legioness agony auntBuy a waterproof mascara, and also try a liquid eye liner, takes a while to get the hang of but when you do it's great :) also something that I do to keep my make up in place is lightly spray my face with hair spray! Sounds kinda crazy but sure does the job :)

get a normal eye make up brush.. then dust some nude eye power under where you would put your lower lash mascara, this should also help your eyeliner now to smudge.

to stop your eyeshadow from going messy then apply foundation on your eyelids.. as the eyeshadow sticks to it better

if you do an eyeliner "flick" At the side of your eye then you could try a powder over the flick or just under it to stop it from smuding down the ways

lol it works for me but hopefully you too =]
