A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Well I'm in a predicament... I really really like this "player" and he supposedly liked me but then we hung out and what not... and things were going great then one day I couldn't hang out and he got super mad and stopped talking to me. Now we flirt and talk but nothing more and as I said I really like him. What to do?

A female reader, pinktopaz United States +, writes (19 November 2010):

What to do? You mean what to do to change him? Nothing. If he really "liked" you, he wouldn't get mad at you for not being able to see him. Especially if you're hooking up (which I'm assuming you are) he only wants to play...that's what a player does. If a guy likes you and you can't see him, he's going to be anything but mad and not talk to you. A guy that wants to keep you is worried about losing you and wouldn't react in such a way that could result in him losing you. This won't change the way you feel, but follow your brain and not your heart. He'll just disappoint you and make you feel bad about yourself.
