Hi there,

I know this sounds like a really daft problem but here it goes ...

Im a 20 year old girl, have a bf who i love but were going on holiday together, weve been on holiday before but only to places where you wear covering up clothes. this time were going to america to see his family. Im average size and height and average looking the problem is i have stretch marks everywhere! I hate them! Ive always been around the same size ranging between a size 8 and 10 so i dont know why i have them. I also have really bad cellulite too. I have stretch marks all over my back and legs and in a bikini its going to look so bad and im going to feel so embarrassed especially with his family being there. Where not going on holiday for another 5 months but im so worried about it. Is there anything i can do too eliminate/get ride of cellulite or stretch marks?

Any advice would greatly help

Thank you

I know how you feel.

I had them myself. I would advise using olive oil over your stretch marks regularly as you would a lotion or cream. This will help fade them. Give it a go.

hey go to www.trilastin.com and order the stretch mark cream and cellulite cream. you will see incredible results after 3 weeks. on the site click on order where you will be sent to another website with the cellulite cream product. it is the best stretch mark cream in my opinion. not sure about the cellulite cream but its the same company making both products. so the cellulite cream must be effective. THIS WILL REALLY WORK. (YOU'RE WELCOME)

hey,

my sister used to have really bad stretch marks on her breasts, she used Bio Oil and they cleared up really well - you cant see them any more at all! I used the same stuff on a scar i had from an operation and it faded it quite a bit.. then i stopped using it cause the scar didnt bother me anymore! My mother swears by baby oil for anything to do with the skin.

As for the cellulite, fake tan disguises it really well - i prefer Dove Summer Glow (a gradual tanning moisturiser) -and if all else fails pick up some cute board shorts.. don't really know of any actual solutions for it tho sorry :(

Don't worry about how you look too much - your partner loves you for more than just how he thinks you'll look in a bikini, and i'm sure his parents will be more interested in getting to know the girl their son brought to them in america than how you look in your swimmers :D

best of luck to you!

Hi,

I used to have pretty bad stretch marks and red scars around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my three kids.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but unfortunately it didn't seem to work too well. My Doctor had even suggested that I go for a Tummy Tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked really well. It took a number of weeks but my stretch marks soon faded away. You can read the lady's article at the link below.

I have the same problem as you. Stretch marks everywhere. It happens when you grow a lot in a short period of time, or you lose/gain a lot of weight in little time.

I usually wear a bikini with a long t-shirt on top. Even so, I feel self-conscious.

If you attempt the suggestions posted here and they do not work, or do not work in time...well, I have similar issues with my body. When we go to the beach or to the pool, I wear a one-piece bathing suit, and also a sarong around my waist, which is waterproof, so yes, I do wear it in the water (my fiance always comments aren't you going to take that off to which I reply "no!"). You can also wear a bathing suit cover-up or loose t-shirt over top of your bathing suit. It's whatever makes you feel most comfortable. The department stores should just be coming out with the bathing suits and coverups and such, so you should have plenty of suitable options to choose from. Enjoy, have fun on your trip, and good luck! And believe in yourself and feel good about yourself and who you are as a person...after all, as they say, "beauty is only skin-deep!".

I have the same problem too so I know how you feel.. But I'm 17!

I got told by my mother that one of the best things for strech marks is cocoa butter. And having looked around, you can buy pretty decent sized tubs for £3 - £7 in Tesco, Asda, Boots and even Lloyds Pharmacy.

Dunno how to deal with the cellulite though.

Hope I helped and have a nice holiday :)

Miss Potter agony auntHi, I am afraid there wont be much you can do about stretch marks, they do fade over time though. About cellulite, start excercising and after a jog for example have a shower and use a scrub with a massaging glove or use one of those hard massagers in the shower, and use lotion after the shower, i like baby oil or nivea lotion. i also used toning lotions. i have been exercising for 2 months, drinking plenty of water, switched to green tea and herbal teas, although i still do drink black tea too, and i eat healthy stuff. baby oil once a day and i do have visible results, it just takes time.

good luck x
