It's just at times there is something I can't do and it's like my mind just shuts down and I am unable to do that or any other tasks. I am a very motivated person and get work done quick but I hate it when this happens. It sucks how I feel two different kinds of extremes, one is when I feel amazing over work and the other is total failure. Maybe I need to adjust my mindset. All I know is I can't carry on this way of thinking. Any ideas? Reply to this Question Share |

I think most people can say they've felt the same at some point. I mean I feel like that sometimes, and I know there's nothing wrong with me. Some people remain like that and for others it's just a phase. But either way, it's normal.

I think you're being a bit hard on yourself, hon. No one can do everything you know? Einstein even had things he could not do. We're all human. Just remind yourself that you're an awesome guy, getting awesome grades-which of course, means you're going places :) Don't sweat the small stuff. Keep reminding yourself that. And if you're still thinking this way, talk to someone about it.
