writes: What does it mean if a guy asks you if you have a boyfriend? I was seeing this guy casually on and off for about a year (and also sleeping with him), and then one day during the end of last October we had a misunderstanding that caused me to get angry at him and I basically told him to never talk to me again. Fastforward to this past February, we run into each other and kind of end up smoothing things out. Last weekend we had a short texting conversation, and then yesterday he texted me something like "havent seen you for a while and was thinking it would be nice to catch a movie and catch up. but i should probably ask you if you have a boyfriend...just asking as a friend, but i totally understand if you have a boyfriend and don't want to" ...is there more to this? or do you guys think he really is just asking out of respect that I might have a boyfriend?

Well I have had this happen to me before and it was with my ex botfriend. You said that you 2 sorted this out and now he wants to go out to a movie,he does respect that you have a boyfriend, but he still likes you, maybe he thinks that sence you met him first and liked him fisrt you will just come back to him ad show you that spark you guys had back then,or maybe he has a plan to try and steel you back from your previouse boyfriend. You just have to be calm about this,if you can't tell if you like your boyfriend more or this other guy then try going to the movies with him, maybe this could be your second chance at love,or maybe it is just a fase of friends..you will never know till you truly understand the situation.

I think thats his slick way of finding out if your available without him needing to make the next move. Try finding out if he has a girlfriend then if you do go to the movie, his body language towards you should reveal all.
