Jamer70 agony auntIt depends what state you live in, to my knowledge you cannot have the charges dropped as he has most likely commited a crime (depending on the state)

You do need to talk to a Lawyer though.

love-him agony auntHey darlin, umm in the UK this wouldnt be that much of a problem as you both seem to be in 'love' because of the such a long relationship.. im not sure about the US but id suggest getting a lawyer ASAP, the court will take notice on the fact you have a baby and you have been together 3 years, and you both love each other. But whats letting you down is the age, there is nothing that can be done if it is love. hope i helped x x x mail me if u wana talk x x x

eyeswideopen agony auntProbably not dropped because it's the law. However the judge may take the fact that you had a baby and that you are still together (assuming that you guys are still together) into consideration when he passes the sentence. You do need to talk to a lawyer.

A female reader, TELLULAH United Kingdom +, writes (6 June 2007):

TELLULAH agony auntIt would depend on the Law of consent where you live. If you were in britain I dont think he would be charged. You need to get some legal advice, as to what your right's are.

But looking at the background of your question, you say you have been together since you were 13? he would have been 26?. If he were over here and you were sexually active he would have been done for child abuse.

You really do seem to need proper legal advice on this one.

It does seem a large age gap, especially with someone so young.

Take care XX
