My beau and I have no problem with it; we are of a similar maturity and we're very close. So why is everyone having such a problem with the age gap? I know married couples with a lot more than 6.5 between them! Can anyone shed some light on this? It's immensely frustrating! Reply to this Question Share |

People comment because it can be a big gap at your age. Maybe they know other cases where it has been a problem. But people vary so much, that it's never fair to make sweeping judgements. Unfortunately, people do tend to think that they know better than everyone else, so feel it's OK to comment about things that are none of their business. If you are happy then that's all that matters.
