reader, anonymous, writes (8 January 2007): Ive been here before, this one will depend on the personality of your b'freind.... if he is humourous and gentle it wont take you long to be comfortable with him...running out of things to say happens to us all...and it will happen to your b'freind, so he'll understand...siliences are a good test of your relationship too, try not to see them as uncomfortable, as they're probably not so dont worry bout being quiet...being quiet gives you the oppertunity to think....so think how to make him laugh...or i normally think of random stuff to say.....tis all chit chat to pass the time.....so long as your happy..dont worry. :)

if your with your boyfriend and you have silent moments it feel weird awkward but if your truely comfortable with some you don't need to fill in the silences, its all about being with each other. i sure he cares about is spending time with you.
