I took it because my period hadn't come on and birth control is supposed to make it regular. So..since den I took a different kinda hpt and it was negative. Went to the doctor, which wasn't help at all and they gave me a pregnancy test using the same different kind. It came back negative. Still no period, but I do have the symptoms. If I am, I'm fourteen weeks. I was having pains in my lower abdomen today (2-16-09), and yesterday (2-15-09) I was really sick and stayed sleep all day..! Can somebody please help me!!! I wanna know is there a baby inside of me or not!!!!!!!

Your blood will give definite answers as it will contain elevated levels of hormones which would indicate whether you're pregnant or not. Just simply taking a pregnancy test isn't conclusive because it only detects a certain hormone called HCG. HCG is only released at high levels by a pregnant female for a couple of weeks. If you are passed the time period that the hormone is at its highest level you can still be pregnant and test negative with a HPT. So my advice is to tell your doctor to do a blood analysis not a urine analysis.

If you had a hpt come up positive and 2 that came back neg. either you was pregnant and lost the baby early,or the hpt that was pos. did not work. or the other test may have not worked, why dont you go to the hospital and have a blood test done because they work alot better then a hpt. well good luck and i hope it all works out for you. Also dont get your hopes up that you are pregnant cause then you think you are then you get all the side effects and then get crushed when it comes back neg.

Well I would go to a Obs/Gyn clinic and explain to them what you have said here. If you came to my clinic with that history I would probably try some other tests and a scan. But that is the only way you will tell.
