It does hurt at first, I'm not gonna lie, but the majority of girls are in the same boat, so don't worry. It gets a lot better over time anyway. If you intend on losing your virginity then come back to me for tips on how to make it less painful =]

Generally, sex the first time is uncomfortable anyway but it's not the same as showing a complete stranger your lady bits and then have them prod around not knowing whats happening. But because your hymen is broken it could make sex more comfortable, but dont worry, every woman hates smear tests =)

Smear tests are not nice.
I had mine recently and it wasn't nice and since I am married... well lets just say I'm not a virgin.
But that and having sex is COMPLETELY different.
You'll be with someone you love in a nice room with candles and kissing and you'll be turned on.
I'm guessing that was not how your smear test happened... or if it did, then you might want to report that to someone.
Good Luck!! xx
