My doctor told me to get one book about pregnancy and read it well! Not 10 books and not really read them!
In the what to expect when you are expecting book it tells you everything you need to know! Plus its all from doctors!
It says it is ok to sleep in any position up until about 5 months. By then when you lay on your tummy, at this point, it feels like you are laying on a ball! It recommends sleeping on your left side With a pillow between your knees. Its supposed to be the best for the baby. It also says not to lay on your back past 5 months since it can compound your bowels and other organs. But! That's the only position I can get comfy in! So far there isn't any discomfort but I'm sure in a month or two when my baby gets bigger it will hurt.
Sleep in whatever position you can right now! Seeing as how in a few months you won't be able to get comfortable in many positions.
Talk to your doctor about what is best for you though! My doctor said that info was perfect but you need to make sure for your and the babies safety it is correct!
Good luck and sleep comfy! You will be missing it soon!
