Hello,
I can understand your worry - but try not to worry too much, as you'll probably find everything is going to be ok and your boyfriend will understand perfectly.
Firstly, this totally depends on when you recovered from having thrush - as your body could still be recovering (internally) from having thrush and some of your bodily functions such as the ability to self-lubricate might not operate as expected.
If it has been some time since it has cleared, and you have no further irritation - and still unable to get wet please please consult your doctor. It is very important to get examined, to get a professional medical opinion.
Secondly, talk to your boyfriend - discuss your worries, and tell him that you'll go see a doctor if the problem continues within the next couple of days.
