Ive always had problems with my neck, it does crack if its really that stiff which isnt painful but im forever moving my neck from side to side because its that uncomfortable and sometimes painful. There are mornings when i wake up and i just cant get comfy again because im in pain.Im now 19 i went to see a physiotherapist (sorry for the poor spelling there) and she said my muscles were very tense which i believe is what it could be. She said its because i dont sit up straight ALL THE TIME And please tell me since when does anyone sit up constantly all the time, i dont sit any differently to anyone else. She gave me some movement exercises which helped for a while but said it wont get any better unless i start sitting properly and no matter how much i tried it got no better and she eventually discharged me and said its up to me to correct it.Tbh when i do sit up right to the extreme im using more energy than a little as its very hard to keep my sholders back and its extremely pianful. And by that i mean extremely straight, i dont actually sit all slouched and crunched up. I dont know what this is but so any of you guys know of any way to try and cure this?I also have an extremely cruved spine, and a very arched back more than usual people. Resulting in my rib cage sticking out further than usual. Its not noticeable to everyone it just looks like my stomach but im really uncomfortable and sick of waking up with this pain. Could anyone help please?

Yes, yoga or pilates is the only way to learn to sit and walk straight... You have bad posture, you need help to relearn..
Try walking with some books on your head.. old fashioned lessons that used to make women into ladies.
Massage should help with the tension and pain... Go book some yoga lessons, it is up to you to correct your posture, they are the best people to help.

Go find a good yoga teacher. Strong, flexible muscles and proper alignment in posture will help you. One tip I've learned and it's a bit hard to describe but I'll give it a go here.
Most people hunch forward and pull their shoulders forward. I want you to think of having a string on the top of your head, pulling you up from the top. Think of having your shoulder blades pulled gently together and then slide them down your back. It helps to have strong abdominal muscles too.
I can't explain it well enough. Go see a yoga teacher and start taking some classes, these will help. And ANYONE can do yoga, it's about your individual body and what it can do.
Good luck.

You need to see a specialist. How about an orthopedic surgeon or a nuero surgeon. They will be able to rule out a more serious problem like a disc problem of a pinched nerve.
Good Luck!
