 If they have mentioned they would like to meet up, and you would like to meet up, you and he need to negotiate a time and place.
If they only want to get to know you better ask them how they prefer to do this, with each asking the other 20 questions or just a random exchange of emails for the next few months or so.
Be proactive, not pushy, just proactive, he may be as uncertain as you, or he might not.
