reader, anonymous, writes (30 March 2008): I see you have a tough situation to decide. You know your wife best, and you may know the friends husband. I think as a reasonable man, you understand that things can get out of control, that is why you have these concerns. If you know she loves you, that your marriage is strong, then letting her go through with this would be okay, but if the two of you do have problems, and she shows an overly enthusiasm for doing this, you might wish to rethink this and compromise. Will the friend be present? If so, there shouldn't be a problem. Do the friend and husband ever talk about swinging? Then you might have a problem.
I know women demand to be trusted and can retaliate if they don't get their way, crashing the whole relationship to bitter fighting. Experience with my wife, is I don't have a say, period, she can do what the hell she wants. And when her eyes gets big and she says "don't trust me?", I can see the devil coming through, and the light turning on saying I will get even. Of course, my relationship is sinking quickly, and I don't see it getting better, so I am on the negative side about something like this. You have to feel comfortable with the situation, or make compromises to each satisfaction.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 March 2008): If you trust your wife then you would let her go ahead and do this. But it is a personal and intimate thing. You must have some mistrust or you wouldnt be asking these questions right now. Have a chat with her but i cannot see a problem, unless you can.
