I want to talk to him, but we barely cross paths or share classes. The only thing we have in common is my childhood friend, Yolanda. This sounds like the solution to my problem, but Yolanda is another problem. She's a notorious liar, and I'm not sure I want her to be the messenger. For example: *At School*/In the Morning/Me: (jokingly) Hey, Yolanda, tell Ricky to hang out where I can see him. I barely see him once in a day.(We both laugh.)Yolanda: (thinking i was serious) Where do you want him to sit?Me: (still jokingly) Outside the hallway on the way to the cafeteria. /During Lunch/(I walk through the hallway leading to the cafeteria, and spot him outside. My eyes bulge and my mouth hangs open.)/After Lunch/(I'm still thinking about what happened lunch, so I alter my 4th period class route to mix with his. People keep blocking, but he walks straight to class as far as I know.)/After School/Me: Whoa, Yolanda. I can't believe he actually did it.Yolanda: Yeah, I told him in the morning to sit outside that hallway because someone was eyeing him. After lunch, I talked to him. I was like, 'Hey, you actually did it!', and he was like, 'Hell yeah.' And then he laughed a little.Me: (in my thoughts) But I didn't see you with him. I should know, I kinda followed him.-End of Story-As you can see, she told me she talked to him after lunch, but I (sort of) followed him most of the way and I didn't see her with him! One part of me wants to believe that he's actually curious to know who I am, but another part of me is telling me that maybe Yolanda's lying. Should I trust Yolanda? If the answer is yes, how do I get her to hook me up with Rick?

Why don't you approach him yourself? The worst thing he could say is No right? Go out of your way to find him. I have a friend just like Yolanda, It's hard to know if you can trust her or not 'cos you don't know if she's joking, lying, or being serious. If you see him, just walk up to him and ask to hang out and take it from there. I hope this helps =)
