reader, anonymous, writes (24 May 2006): I'd tell her you missed her, but dont profess your undying love for her...she might get spooked which isnt what you want to do. Take things nice and slow, don't come on too strong or be too clingy...people hate that. Plus if you told her you loved her and she didnt feel she could return the seniment it would be awkward and you could end up feeling hurt she didnt say it back and she could feel hurt for not being able to say it back.
Just play it nice and safe.

 I think if you tell a girl you love her on the first date, you'll would becoming on very strong. Telling a girl you've missed her and like her will make her feel speical but do try not to come on too strong as you might scare her off.
