A female Australia age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Hello!

So, my pickle is recently I've been having these really sexual dreams about a good friend of mine. A few weeks ago we went out for a friends birthday celebration and nothing happened between us but there is still obvious chemistry between us. A couple of years ago we had feelings for each other but it was complicated and couldnt work out. Last year he still confessed he had feelings for me and tried to make a move but I was in a bad space and had just broken up with my boyfriend.

However my current pickle is that I got back with my boyfriend and things have been a bit rocky, hes bipolar and its very hard to handle. We dont have much of a sex life and I keep finding myself with these fantasies about my friend. He has a girlfriend now and I would never cheat on my boyfriend so its not like anything will happen but I want to be fantasizing about my boyfriend like how I used to.

I just cant get my friend out of my head! Should I tell my boyfriend? But I dont see how that would be any good. Should I tell my friend? Or should I just ride this out until it stops? I just hope it does!

Advice?

Thank you!

petina1 agony auntI would keep your dreams in your own mind and not disclose to anyone, it won't do you any good. Your boyfriend with him being bi polar must be difficult for you to handle sometimes. There's obviously something missing in your life if you are having dreams of being with someone else. I think your subconcious mind is telling you that you are not in the right situation at the moment and you may not be with the right one either.
