Don't be afraid at all to tell him. Chances are, the opposite effect will happen to him, that that will make him like you even more. For some odd reason, many guys don't mind sleeping around, but it's a bit more special for them to be with a virgin. Plus, it makes them feel really good to know that the girl has "saved" herself for him.

I would tell him because when it does happen the first couple of time will be uncomfortable and he will need to know to take it easy. Also to use lots of lube. Personally I would be quite shocked and excited that you are willing to lose it to me. I'm sure he'll love the thought of being your first time. Although it's not the best physically the feeling you both get from it is amazing.
