writes: Dear Cupid,For about two months now, I've been crushing on this really amazing guy. His name is Ethan, and he lives in the next town over from mine. He's seventeen, and like I said, he's amazing. Do you remember how, when you were a little girl, you would always fantasize about what your Prince Charming would be like? Well, it might sound crazy, but Ethan is everything I always imagined. He's absolutely PERFECT!!! He's sweet...he's funny...he's talented...he's handsome...and most importantly, he's a REALLY strong Christian.Recently, I found out that him and his band are going to be competing in a battle of the bands next Saturday, and my friend and I are planning to go to it. Everyone's been telling me that I should just tell him how I feel when I see him there, and I've been thinking about it, too. Do you think I should? And if I did, what would I say? I mean, do I just walk up to him, grab him by the shirt collar, and say, "Listen here, bud-I love you," or something like that? Or should I get someone else to tell him? Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.~SarSar~

I think it would scare him if you walked up to him and said listen hear mr, I love you. I think you could be subtle, mature and wise, and tell him how glad you are to see him, what a great job his band is doing, and ask him when the next time he will be in town? Then you could say something like, here is my phone number, next time you plan on a trip over here, I hope you will give me a call so we can get together for a chat! And if he responds, then nail him down on something he might like to go and do with you, if he looks shy or dumb founded, hand him the number and then excuse yourself and walk away. Remember, in spite of what others may say, guys like to be the pursuer, not the pursuee most always.
