writes: Hello, I have my best friend who likes me and I like him... he's goin out with somebody (just a pity thing) and lately we've been "together".For example on IM he'll tell me that he likes me, then at school you can tell to but his "girlfriend" hates it. I dunno what to do... should I tell him to break up with her and then be with me or leave it the way it is? It's really hard because I like him 2. HELP!!!

If he really likes you as much as he says he does then he would have broke up with the girl thats is a pity thing, you should honestly stay out of it and let him make his own dessions on this, he has a gf and he likes you and he has to pick either one....you can ask him what he is going to do with this pity gf of his either stay with her or not just bring it up but dont tell him to break up with her he needs to be a man and make that on his owne

If he likes you the way he says he does, then pity or not, he should end it with this girl. The problem is that you shouldnt be the one suggesting it. If you mean as much to him as he says, then he should use his head and do something about the situation.
Anyone that feels that strongly about someone should do what they need to, to do the right thing, and do whats best for all concerned. Besides keeping some young girl on a string for pitty sake isnt a good thing.
I hope he can see sense and do the right thing!
