They broke up, but I have reason to believe that she still has a lot of feelings for him. However, I also know that she still has feelings for me, albeit not enough to start dating me again. It's a band that she's really been into lately and I would love to take her to their concert in December. I want to show her how much I care. Thanks,Mike

 If you just wanted some company to see a band you both like then it would be ok, but the problem is that you have an ulterior motive in going with her...you may not think so right now...but you want her back don't you? Go to the concert with someone else as if you buy her tickets and it doesn't all turn out as you would like then you may feel resentful about it all. You cannot change how other people feel or think unfortunately. It is obvious you still have a thing for her but it is time to move on and find someone who appreciates you!

reader, anonymous, writes (21 November 2006): Why can't you move on????? No i wouldn't get tickets. just get yourself a new gf and take her to a concert. Don't go back down old tracks. If she still has feelings for you and her other ex then let her decide but don't sway her views by buying these for her. I think it is wise to leave well alone. Move on.

well taking her there as an outing is alright.she'll see it as some regular thing..nothing really that special.. well what i can say is that you can take her out..but not to "get her back", you know what i mean? so..just take her to the concert.........
