writes:i am a bit stuck, recently i found out thos lad liked me we went on a date although i wasnt sure if i liked him in the same way, i thought this might be the opportunity to get to know him more and stuff as i dont really fancy him physically( not meaning to sound shallow). after this date i was even more confused, i have not been out with a lad in a long time and i dont know how i feel im so confused. on the date it just felt as if we were going out as mates but i think that was because we were both quite shy but that made me think does he just want to be friends. my friend keeps telling me he would treat me right and i know all this but how can i go out with him if i dont know how i feel would that be leading him on and giving the impression that i like him, how can i tell if i like him? should i spend more time with him? should i go out with him and see how things go even though im not sure? please help soo confusedthanx in advancexx

By all means have him as a good mate, but your only young - you have so much time ahead of you, you should be dating guys you fancy the pants off!!
Okay I know they don't come along often but when they do and a really good looking guy asks you out you will be so glad you are single and don't have to worry about cheating on or dumping mr nice (but not fit)guy?.
Don't be confused - think about yourself - and your not shallow we all want a man we fancy.
Believe me I wouldn't be with my husband if i didn't fancy him like mad!

i normally like to be sure if i like someone befor i ask them out. You should hang out with him some more and if that fails explain to him how you feel and that your unsure of how you feel about him and you dont know what to do and take it from there.
