A male Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

alright, well there is this girl at my college and i really like her and i really want to ask her out but there are a few problems 1) we are right in the middle of our exam period and 2) we live in different cities. So my question is i really want to tell her that i like her, but should i ask her out first or just take her aside and tell her and how do i tell her i really like her without coming on too strong?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!!

A male reader, Capri2 Argentina +, writes (10 April 2011):

Start by asking her out. If she agrees you will get to know her and you will find the right time to telling her what you feel. Otherwise you will tell her you like her without knowing her well and that's very weird.

If she doesn't want to go out with you, you save your self the pain.
